Short-term rentals are becoming popular with real estate owners. They offer a variety of benefits to both customers and real estate owners. Our team is developing a system to help real estate owners manage their properties more efficiently and with higher rental returns. The main stakeholders for our project will be the real estate owners, the cleaning department, the maintenance department, and the customers. The system will provide autonomous check-in and check-out, 360 images of the accommodation, and automated check-ups by notifying the cleaning and maintenance department after each check-out.
Performing facial recognition task in a uniform-appearance crowd, often encountered in the Middle East and the gulf-region is a challenge. Until now, there is no such system that can handle such a task effectively. A proposed solution is to use a camera-equipped drone-based system. This system is invasive, having a nearly zero risk of collision, and most importantly has more flexibility in tracking when it comes to a computer vision-based system. The scope of this project is to develop, implement and validate a deep learning computer-vision model.
The Oil Project displays the world's oil import and export trade data between countries for the past 20 years. This was built during my internship at SnowHeap with a colleague and the very first website I made. The the main technology to build the map was D3, which allows for high customizable SVG designs. Additionally, all the data is from the United Nations data repository and it was all processed with numpy and pandas in Python, and uploaded to TinyBird for high speed SQL queries and API requests.
Designed and implemented an image-processing Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) from scratch using TensorFlow to classify various cat breeds and achieved an ROC score of 87% and used feature extraction on other models such as KNN, SVM, and MLP. Overall, the dataset was imbalanced and this resulted in a overfitting model but the experience was well worth it.
A simple path-finding visualizer for algorithms such as A*, Uniform Cost Search, and Greedy Search. Has additional functionalities such as random walls, and maze generation. It allows adjusting the weights of a grid tile, execution time, and adjusting distance metrics. I made this during my Intro to AI course to help me learn more about search algorithms.
Using Oxylabs for web-scraping, Next.js 13.4, Tremor.io, and Typescript, I built a clone of the Google Shopping Website. This project aimed to demonstrate and implement new technology such as the Next.js v13 app router. Additionally, I was able to implement web scraping technology. Unfortunately, Oxylabs only has a 7-day trial, so any deployed build most likely no longer functions.
